Michael Palumbo, Editor

Michael Palumbo grew up in Queens, New York and was the first in his family to attend college. He found the college application process to be intimidating and spent as little time on it as he could. He chose to attend a school close to home.

Early in his second semester, Michael left that school. He found a part-time position at The Princeton Review and started reading about colleges as part of his job. With his new-found expertise, he applied to a different group of colleges. This time he enjoyed the process and ended up at a school that was a great fit for him.

Michael is a graduate of Vassar College and an education writer for high school and college students. He has been an editor at John Wiley & Sons, Scholastic Education, and The Princeton Review. He lives in Brooklyn, New York.
