Prepared to take out big loans to pay for college? Before you do, consider that students don’t always get their money’s worth when they spend a lot for a college education.
Reader’s Digest recently posted an article about some of the more costly expenditures for which college students pay, including big-name sports programs, mountains of published research, and luxurious on-campus amenities (e.g., Jacuzzis, rock-climbing walls). The article concludes, “Beginning adulthood without debt is worth far more than a designer diploma.” Click here to read more. (Thanks to Montgomery Educational Consulting for the great find.)
