How do you get more students to go to college?
If you're Washington, D.C. Council Chairman Kwame Brown, you make all students apply while they're still in high school.
Brown is pushing novel legislation that would require each of the 70,000 students in D.C.’s public and charter high schools to apply to at least one college or vocational school, even if they do not plan to attend.
As part of the measure, students would also be required to take either the ACT or SAT.
