The FAFSA, the form that kicks off the financial aid application process, should be a major priority right now for students who have applied to start college this fall.

If you haven’t familiarized yourself with it yet, Montgomery Educational Consulting advises you to do so ASAP. It’s important to meet the FAFSA deadlines for your home state and the colleges to which you’re applying.

Your family can complete the FAFSA before filing its taxes if it has certain key pieces of information (e.g., pay stubs, bank account statements) available. Click here for more info.
